Lucent CBX 500 (a.k.a. Cascade CBX 500)

The Lucent CBX 500 Switch provides ATM services for both the public carrier and private network. The 16 slot high performance ATM backbone switch, the Lucent CBX 500 provides high port densities up to 64000 nodes per network. Dedicated signal processing, advanced distributed processing and network topology management are among the features providing integrated access to the full range of ATM services and support of the Lucent CBX 500.
