Used IBM 8244 FDDI Concentrator.

The used IBM 8244 Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI) workgroup concentrator for workstations to the FDDI dual ring backbone. The used IBM 8244 FDDI hub allows for the attachment of up to 12 devices to a 100 Mbps FDDI Network. These devices may be connected via Multimode Fiber Optic, shielded twisted pair (STP) copper cable or Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper cable. Six and twelve port models of the refurbed IBM 8244 FDDI concentrator are available. Two Fiber Uplinks (RI/RO) are standard on each model and each model designates the remaining types of ports which are available on the unit. All six port hubs my be upgraded to the corresponding 12 port models by ordering the refurbished IBM 8244 #8201, refurbished IBM 8244 #8202 and refurbished IBM 8244 #8203 upgrade kits. Each used IBM 8244 upgrade kits provides for an additional 2 ports....so to add six ports to the six port model, you must order three of the refurbed IBM 8244 upgrade kits.
